What leasing options are available?

​Our leases are typically 12 months, but we do offer a variety of options. Contact us for more details. 

What is an individual lease? Do you offer individual leases & co-living?

​We do not offer individual leases (by-the-bed) with co-living arrangements (individual leases with private rooms and shared commons spaces). We offer a single lease with everyone 18 years and older on the same lease.

Is there a security deposit and is any of it refundable?

​Yes, the security deposit is equal to the amount of the first month of rent. And yes, the entire deposit is refundable as long as the apartment is left in the condition it was when residents move-in. 

Are utilities inlcuded? (Which ones specifically.)

​Residents are responsible to pay their own utilities. 

Is renter's insurance required?

Yes, renter's insurance is required for the property. For individual renter's insurance, the amount is up to the individual renter for a personal renter's policy.

Can the apartment be listed on short-term rental platforms like AirBnB or VRBO?

​Apartments cannot be listed on short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb or VRBO.

What happens if I need to move out before my lease expires?

​Leases are locked into the contract that you sign before you move-in, you'll need to reach out to the leasing office to discuss this in depth if needed. 

Is there an application fee?

​Yes, the application fee is $70. (Pricing is subject to change.)

Are apartments cable ready?

​Apartments are ready for cable and internet. Residents may set up a contract with a service such as Centruy Link and Direct TV through Team UltraView.

Do you have package lockers/how do I get my packages?

​We have a package concierge system for your convenience! 

What is the smoking policy?

​We are pleased to be a smoke-free community. All smoking is prohibited in all locations on the premises, including, but not limited to, apartments, patios, parking lots, garages, green spaces, and common areas.

Do you allow pets?

​We are a pet-friendly community with a pet play area! Cats and dogs, age 12+ months and spayed or neutered are welcome. We allow some caged animals. We charge pet rent, have a two-pet limit, and city code breed restrictions apply. See our Pet Policy on thewebsite for details. 

What schools serve the community?

​Public schools in the area include Walnut Street School (elementary), Callanan Middle School, and Roosevelt High School. There are also a variety of private schools available nearby. 

Are you near any transportation routes? Which ones?

LINC is near Des Moines International airport, just 4.8 miles away. 

When were these apartments built?

​These apartments were built in 2020. 

Are the apartments furnished?

​No, our apartments are unfurnished, waiting for your personal touch and style choices.

What kind of kitchen appliances are in the apartment?

​Our contemporary urban-style kitchens feature backsplashes in every apartment has stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, refrigerator, electric range, microwave, and disposal — plus kitchens featuring islands and peninsulas are available.  

Are washers and dryers available? Are they in the apartment?

​Apartments are equipped with a washer and dryer — no more lugging laundry around! 

Is there a tub or a shower?

​Apartments feature a space-saving tub/showe combo. 

Is the apartment set up for working remotely?

​Yes. High-speed internet is available, some floor plans feature a den or a second, third, or fourth bedroom works perfectly as an office setup.
